Are you passionate about ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of software and infrastructure? Input 1 is seeking a seasoned Azure Cloud and Deployment Engineer to join our dynamic team. If you join us, you will collaborate closely with development, operations, and other cross-functional teams to design, implement, and maintain robust, automated solutions for managing our production environment. Responsibilities:

  • Design, build, and maintain scalable, reliable, and efficient infrastructure and services in an Azure cloud environment.
  • Develop and implement automation tools and processes to streamline deployment, monitoring, and management tasks.
  • Perform UAT and Production software deployments.
  • Collaborate with development teams to design applications for reliability, scalability, and performance.
  • Monitor system performance and reliability metrics, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to minimize downtime and improve performance.
  • Participate in incident response and on-call rotation, identifying root causes of incidents and implementing preventive measures to mitigate future occurrences.
  • Conduct regular reviews and audits of infrastructure and systems to identify potential areas for improvement and optimization.
  • Assist with vulnerability scans, PCI scans, and emerging threats to protect the attack surface.
  • Stay up to date with industry best practices, emerging technologies, and trends in site reliability engineering and cloud computing, and incorporate them into our practices and processes.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to define and implement metrics and objectives to measure and improve system reliability and availability.
  • Collaborate with security teams to ensure that infrastructure and services are designed and operated with security best practices in mind.

Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of Windows systems administration and networking concepts.
  • Experience with managing IIS, .Net, SQL Server environments.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud computing platforms, Azure preferred.
  • Proficiency and experience with scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell).
  • Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools and incident management systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues in a distributed, high-availability environment.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
  • Relevant Azure certifications are a plus.

Education:

  • Desired Bachelor’s degree in computer science or comparable degree, or equivalent experience

Experience/Knowledge:

  • 5+ years of experience in a similar role, with a focus on site reliability engineering, system administration, or software engineering.
  • Experience working in SaaS environment.
  • Competitive salary and benefits package.
  • Salary of $110,000.00 - $150,000.00
